Lupe is a gentle senior Chihuahua currently safe in the care of Whisker’s Way Rescue and ready to begin her next chapter.

She came into rescue alongside her brother, Buster. While they find comfort in each other’s presence, they do not need to be adopted together — though we would absolutely love to see them stay together if the right home comes along.

Like many dogs who enter the rescue world later in life, Lupe has experienced change and uncertainty. She would thrive in a calm, loving home where she can decompress, feel secure, and adjust at her own pace.

Lupe is looking for patient adopters who understand that senior dogs often need a little time to settle in before their true personalities shine. In return, she has the potential to become a deeply loyal and loving companion.

A foster home would also be incredibly beneficial while she waits for her forever family.
