Chihuahua Dogs Available for Adoption

Buster is a sweet senior Chihuahua who is now safe and cared for through Whisker’s Way Rescue. He is ready for a loving foster or forever home where he can relax, feel secure, and begin enjoying the next chapter of his life.

He came into rescue alongside his sister, Lupe. While they are comfortable together and could be adopted as a pair, they do not have to be adopted together. Buster can absolutely thrive in a home of his own with the right patient and understanding adopter.

Like many dogs who enter rescue later in life, Buster has been through transitions that may take time to process. He would do best in a calm environment where he can adjust at his own pace, build trust, and enjoy a predictable routine.

Senior dogs have so much quiet love and loyalty to give. With kindness and consistency, Buster has the potential to become a devoted companion who simply wants a soft place to rest and a person to call his own.

A foster home would also be incredibly helpful while he waits to find his forever family.
