Come meet me and hundreds of adoptable pets at Cincinnati's mega adoption event, My Furry Valentine! Saturday, February 21st and Sunday February 22nd at Spooky Nook Sports!
Rudi is a 6-month-old, 11-pound Chihuahua full of the playful, bouncy energy you'd expect from a growing puppy. He loves to explore, stay busy, and turn everyday moments into fun adventures. His curious, lively personality really shines when he's playing or discovering something new.
As with many young pups, Rudi is still learning the ropes. He will do best with a family committed to providing patience, consistency, positive training, and lots of love as he continues to grow. He's not yet comfortable walking on a leash and will need ongoing leash training to help him build confidence and good manners. Because of this, a securely fenced yard is strongly preferred so he can safely burn off energy and play.
Due to his small size and puppy enthusiasm, a home without small children-or with older, respectful kids-may be the best fit to ensure everyone stays safe and happy.
Rudi is looking for a family that understands puppy life and is excited to help him blossom into a confident, well-adjusted companion. If you're ready to invest time, training, and affection into a sweet little dog who just wants to be loved, Rudi could be the perfect addition to your home.
Rudi is fostered in the Cincinnati area. His adoption fee is $400.00.
To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt
All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.
We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
