Doris - Chihuahua Dog for Adoption in Boerne, Texas

Meet Doris!
Doris is a 3-year-old, 9-pound long-haired Chihuahua blend with a soft coat and an even softer heart. She was found running in the streets with eight of her family members-a little herd of itty-bitty sheep! Thankfully, a Good Samaritan rounded them up and got them safely into her yard.
Doris is social, sweet, and gentle. She gets along with people and other dogs, and her submissive nature makes her an easy little friend to love.
Doris is also one of our Ambassador Dogs. Adopting an Ambassador Dog helps Charming Pet Rescue continue saying yes to dogs who need extra care and a second chance. Doris is ready to trade her days with the herd for a home and a lap of her very own!

The Chihuahua is a small breed famous for its confidence, loyalty, and big personality, despite its tiny size. Chihuahuas make excellent companions, forming strong bonds with their owners and displaying a protective nature. They come in a variety of coat colors and patterns, with both long and short coats, making them a diverse and adorable addition to any family.
