Peppita is a tiny senior Chihuahua with a big heart and a gentle spirit. Weighing only 8 pounds, this sweet little lady recently came to us with a large wound on her right side, but she's already proving to be a tough cookie on the road to recovery.
Thanks to medical care, Peppita's wound is healing well and forming healthy new tissue, and she's happily eating all of her meals. Her care now focuses on simple daily wound care and medications while her body continues to mend. With the progress she's already made, our medical team expects a full recovery from her injury.
Peppita is a senior girl with a few typical older-dog quirks, including some dental disease and a mild heart murmur, but she's otherwise stable and doing well. Her ideal home will be one that understands the charm of a senior pup-someone who appreciates quiet companionship, cozy beds, and the gentle presence of a tiny dog who just wants to feel safe and loved.
