Maxi is truly one of those once-in-a-lifetime sweet souls. Quiet, gentle, and wonderfully low-key, she’s the definition of an easy companion. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate sidekick who’s happy to match your pace, look no further. Maxi gets along beautifully with dogs, cats, and children, making her a seamless addition to almost any home. Maxi is incredibly low-maintenance and perfectly content soaking up life’s simple joys — like cozy cuddle sessions, soft kisses, and sharing snacks with her favorite humans.
A certified lap dog, Maxi’s happiest place is right next to (or on!) her people. She’s a professional Netflix binge partner and never says no to a car ride, especially if she can claim the best seat in the house: your lap. If you’re dreaming of a gentle, loving companion who just wants to be close and share life’s quiet moments, Maxi is ready to meet you.
Maxi is a 4-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $500 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. Maxi is also tested with other dogs, cats, children, and potty and kennel trained. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home.
The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.
We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)
Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed.
Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned.
Thank you for choosing adoption! If you would like more information on our organization please visit our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org.
