Poindexter is an 11-year-old senior gentleman who isn't asking for much-just a soft place to land and a kind human to share his golden years with.
He's calm, slow, and incredibly easy to be around. Not needy, not demanding-just quietly grateful for companionship. Poindexter is happiest lounging nearby, soaking up the peace of a calm home, and enjoying the simple routines of daily life.
He does wonderfully with other dogs and would be perfectly content in a home with canine friends or as a mellow solo companion. He's the kind of dog who brings a sense of stillness with him-steady, gentle, and comforting.
Poindexter isn't looking for adventures. He's looking for belonging.
A home where he can just be loved for who he is, exactly as he is, for the rest of his days.
