You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Biscuit is an approximately 4 to 5 year old chihuahua/terrier type mix who came to us on 10/4/2025 with her housemate Daisy. Their owner passed away and the family surrendered them. Although Biscuit and Daisy have always lived together and came in together, we are not requiring that they be adopted together. It would be fantastic, of course, but finding each of them a home is what is important. The girls were extremely shy when they first came to us and it took quite a while to get them ready for adoption. They are now fully vetted and ready for a new home. The adoption fee for Biscuit, alone, is $150. If she is adopted with Daisy, it's $250 for both.
FENCED YARD REQUIRED. Biscuit is looking for a somewhat quiet, ADULT only home. Teens are okay. She will require a lot of patience and some basic training. Her leash skills are not good yet which is why she requires a fenced yard. It will keep her safe and secure as she acclimates to a new home and new life. Biscuit is very shy with new people but blossoms into a fun loving character once she's comfortable. Biscuit did live with other smaller dogs but has shown some fear reactivity towards larger dogs. We were told by family members that Biscuit is not good with cats.

We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.
We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.
