Introducing Scruffy! This adorable, playful ball of energy is ready to find his forever home!

Scruffy has the softest coat and the most endearing eyes—you’ll fall in love the moment you meet him. His foster family even thinks he looks like a little fox, which just adds to his charm! We believe he may be a Chihuahua/Shih Tzu mix—and he has the cutest curled tail that seems to have a mind of its own! He also has an adorable little underbite that makes him even more unique.

He’s the perfect mix of fun and cuddly: he loves squeaky toys, chew bones, and playing all day, but when he’s tired, he turns into a total baby who just wants to be held and snuggled.

Scruffy is already impressively smart for such a young pup—he’s almost potty trained and crate trained! He sleeps through the night in his crate and is even starting to go in on his own for naps.

He’s a curious little guy who stays close to his foster mom, always watching and learning. He absolutely loves his furry foster siblings—chasing, tug-of-war, and playtime are his favourite things! Because of that, he’d thrive in a home with another playful dog.

At just 8 lbs (and growing!), Scruffy also loves spending time with kids and is learning how to play fetch. He’s starting to walk on a leash, though he’s still a bit young for big adventures—but he already loves car rides and usually snoozes the whole way. He is teething, so we are looking for a forever home without young kiddos for this baby!

Scruffy is still very much a puppy and is looking for a family who is home often, ready to give him love, structure, and lots of playtime. In return, you’ll get endless cuddles, entertainment, and a loyal little companion.
