Hi, I'm a tiny but mighty Chihuahua/Shih Tzu mix who is so ready for a fresh start. I was rescued from a backyard breeder where I didn't get the love and care every puppy deserves, but thankfully I'm now safe with The Charlie Project Dog Rescue.

I'm just starting to learn what it means to be a dog in a real home. Everything is new to me, so I can be a little shy at firstbut with patience and kindness, my sweet personality is already beginning to shine. I love being close to my people and will make a very loyal little companion.

I am still working on all the basics, including potty training, so I'll need a family that is committed to helping me learn and adjust. A calm home and possibly another confident dog would really help me continue to come out of my shell.

I come with my current DHPP vaccines (including boosters provided by the rescue), bordetella vaccine, microchip, deworming, and a current health certificate. My $800 adoption fee includes my spay/neuter at one of the rescue's partner veterinarians.

If you choose to use your own vet, a $100 reimbursement will be provided upon proof of spay/neuter. This is required as part of the adoption contract.

If you rent or live in a condo, please ensure your landlord or association has approved a dog prior to applying. If you currently have a dog at home, please email up-to-date vet records and proof of preventatives to thecharlieprojectdogrescue@gmail.com before submitting your application.
