Deedee is a sweet, playful little puppy with a heart full of joy and a personality that will keep you smiling.

At around 7 weeks old, Deedee is all puppy — curious, goofy, and full of fun. She loves to play with toys, romp around with her siblings, and then settle in for some cozy lap time or snuggles with a soft blanket. Watching Deedee play is guaranteed to make you laugh, especially when she’s bouncing around with her brother and sisters.

Deedee is friendly with adult men and women, children over 10, and small dogs. Because she’s so young, she’s very adaptable and would do just fine as an only pup or with a canine companion. What matters most to her is having someone to play with, toys to explore, and a safe, loving environment where she can grow.

Like all puppies, Deedee will need patience and consistency as she learns potty training, manners, and boundaries. She’s eager to learn and expected to pick things up quickly with positive guidance and routine. She does bark a little when playing, which is just normal puppy excitement.

Deedee was found abandoned in the woods with her siblings, without food or water. She was covered in ticks and fleas and had significant skin issues from her rough start in life. With proper care and treatment, she’s doing much better and showing just how resilient and happy she truly is.

Deedee is looking for a committed home that understands puppies take time, training, and love. In return, she’ll bring laughter, cuddles, and all the sweet moments that only a puppy can offer.

Deedee s a lovable little girl ready to start her next chapter — all she needs now is someone to teach her, love her, and let her be a puppy!

Deedee is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 2/7/2026 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 9am and noon. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven’t arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Click here to learn more about the FTA program. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
