DESCRIPTION
Meet this sweet Chihuahua-Rat Terrier mix!
This adorable 8-month-old boy came from a hoarding situation and was rescued from a county shelter, so the world is still a little scary to him--but his progress has been amazing. Once he feels safe, he warms up quickly and shows his true loving personality.
He has already bonded with volunteers and absolutely loves being in your lap, soaking up quiet affection and reassurance. He's doing well with house training and continues to improve with routine and patience.
Because he can be nervous, he's looking for a calm, low-key home where things aren't too fast-paced. He would do best with older children (12+) who can respect his need for gentle interactions. With time, consistency, and love, he will blossom into a devoted companion.
If you're looking for a sweet, sensitive pup who just needs a safe place to land, this little guy could be your perfect match. To adopt this pet, please go to hsnwga.org, 'Adoption' then 'Application for Adoption', to complete an online application to be preapproved. Due to the high volume of applications received, our Adoption Coordinator will only contact the applicant that best meets the needs of the pet.
