Meet Pluto!
Pluto is a 2-year-old Chihuahua/Pug mix weighing about 12 pounds, and he is absolutely adorable. This sweet boy has a gentle heart, but he’s what we lovingly call a “nervous nelly.” Pluto is shy and needs time to feel safe, so he will require a very patient, understanding family willing to go slow and let him build trust at his own pace.
Because of his sensitive nature, Pluto would do best in a calm home with no children. Once he feels comfortable, though, his loving personality truly shines. He becomes affectionate, loyal, and very devoted to his person. Watching him blossom is incredibly rewarding.
Pluto gets along well with other dogs and has done fine with cats. However, he and his brother Bruno must be adopted into separate homes, as they do not do well together.
He is doing great with house training and will use potty pads or go outside. He sleeps quietly through the night in his crate.
Pluto came from an owner surrender situation where he didn’t receive the love and care he deserved. Despite that, he remains a very sweet boy who simply needs time, patience, and kindness.
He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and will have a health certificate prior to adoption. In the right home, Pluto is going to be an incredibly loyal and loving companion.
The Chihuahua is a small breed famous for its confidence, loyalty, and big personality, despite its tiny size. Originating from Mexico, these dogs are known for their large, expressive eyes and alert, curious nature. Chihuahuas make excellent companions, forming strong bonds with their owners and displaying a protective nature. With a wrinkled face, curled tail, and expressive eyes, pugs are beloved for their affectionate nature and playful demeanor. Originating from China, these compact dogs have a smooth coat and require minimal grooming. Pugs are known to be excellent companions, suitable for owners of all ages due to their adaptable and social temperament.
