Echo is a 7-year-old Chug (Chihuahua/Pug mix) with personality for days. He's loyal, expressive, and takes his job of “alerting you to absolutely everything” very seriously. Mail carrier? Noted. Neighbor walking by? Reported. Suspicious leaf? Handled.
Echo is looking for a home that appreciates a little extra commentary and doesn't mind an enthusiastic alarm system. Beneath that watchful nature is a devoted companion who bonds deeply with his people and loves being part of the action.
If you're looking for a small dog with a big presence and an even bigger heart, Echo just might be your guy.
The adoption fee is $300 + tax and covers age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter.
We're open from 12-4 PM Tuesday - Saturday! Did you know you don't need to have an appointment to visit our available cats and dogs***? Simply drop by and if you find a potential new furry friend, you can fill out an application on the day you visit. Go to townandcountryanimalrescue.org to fill out our digital application. Applications are typically processed in 3-5 business days.
Once you're approved, you can return on the date and time set up by your adoption counselor, with your family for a meet and greet. If it goes well, you can take your new best friend home on the meet and greet day!
If you have other dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee.
***Please note that animals in foster homes cannot be viewed at our rescue, and appointments are still required to meet them.
