Chihuahua and Pomeranian Dogs Available for Adoption

Hi there! My name is Skye, and I’m a 7-year-old long-haired Chihuahua with the most beautiful flowing blonde coat you’ve ever seen!

When I first arrived at the sanctuary, I was heartbroken to be separated from my former owner. It took me about a week to decompress and learn that I was safe. But once I trust you? I am affectionate, sweet, and absolutely melt into pets. I’ll even ask for them now!

I love to play with my son, Bubba. While we’re not bonded, preference will be given to adopters who would love to take us both home. I’m social with other dogs and would enjoy having a playful companion in my forever home.

I walk nicely on a leash, ride well in the car, and previously lived in a home with lots of other dogs. Because I need a little time and patience to settle in, I’d do best with experienced rescue dog owners who understand the importance of structure and giving me the space to decompress.

Originating from Pomerania in Central Europe, these dogs are intelligent, alert, and exceptionally friendly, making them excellent companions for both individuals and families. Pomeranians require regular grooming to maintain their luxurious double coat, which can come in various colors. Despite their small size, they are lively and confident, often displaying a curious nature and playful demeanor that endears them to their owners.
