Meet Howie!

Howie is a handsome little guy born on December 19, 2025, and he’ll be ready to head home to his forever family mid-February. He’s a typical puppy in every sense—playful, curious, and always up for an adventure (or a nap right after).

His brindle coat gives him a striking, unique look that’s sure to turn heads, and he’s expected to grow into a medium-sized dog. Howie is learning all the important puppy things like exploring new surroundings, playing with his toys, and soaking up love from his people.

Adoption donation required. This covers altering, DAP series vaccinations to date of adoption, Bordetella Vaccination, Rabies vaccination if over four months, Microchip, Deworming, heartworm test (if over 8 months), monthly flea/heartworm prevention to date, grooming, full veterinary examination, and temperament evaluation.

All SOAR dogs go through a ten-day quarantine period to ensure they are healthy, before being adopted. We do not operate on a first come first serve basis, but screen applicants in order to find the best fit for our adoptable dogs.
