DESCRIPTION
Arby here — and no, not the sandwich — I’m a dog looking for a forever home. My previous human literally dumped me, but fortunately a kind woman brought me to Forte. I’ve been staying with some wonderful people who also have friendly large dogs, and we all get along great. It can take me a little time to warm up to men, but introduce me to a nice lady and I melt right into her arms. The Forte team is still getting to know me, but so far they say I’m pretty self-contained and easygoing. Just make sure my toy soccer ball comes along, and we’ll get along perfectly.
If you are interested in meeting this pooch, please download the Adoption Questionnaire (farescue.org/pdf_files/questionnaire_canine.pdf), fill it out and email it back to us at info@farescue.org or fax (310) 362-0321. You can also meet this and/or other available dogs at our weekend adoptions.
[Arby is about 4 years old and weighs 15 lbs.]

ABOUT: CHIHUAHUA DOG BREED
The Chihuahua is a small breed famous for its confidence, loyalty, and big personality, despite its tiny size. Originating from Mexico, these dogs are known for their large, expressive eyes and alert, curious nature. Chihuahuas make excellent companions, forming strong bonds with their owners and displaying a protective nature. They come in a variety of coat colors and patterns, with both long and short coats, making them a diverse and adorable addition to any family.
The Patterdale Terrier Fell Terrier is a small, hardy breed known for its fearless and energetic nature. Originating from the Lake District of England, these dogs were originally bred for hunting foxes and other quarry. They have a strong prey drive and excel in tasks that require agility and determination. Patterdale Terriers are loyal and affectionate companions, but require active exercise and mental stimulation to thrive. With their wiry coat and compact build, they are well-suited for both rural and urban living environments.
