Chihuahua and Papillon Dogs Available for Adoption

Meet Willow! At just 9 months old, this little lovebug is still very much a puppy — and every bit as adorable as that sounds.

Dog friendly? Yes!
Cat friendly? Yes
Ferret friendly? Yes, really!
Pet store chaos? Totally unfazed.

She has been exposed to dogs, cats, ferrets, busy stores, and all kinds of new environments — and she handles it all like a champ. No barking, no prey drive, no obsession — just sweet curiosity and a wagging tail.

Willow is extremely friendly with kids and adults alike. She would happily smother you with kisses all day if you let her. She’s surprisingly quiet for a toy breed — not a barker and not skittish.

She loves:
Car rides
Shopping trips
Exploring the yard
Playing fetch
Hiding her bones in the couch and beds (future treasure hunter!)

Because she’s so tiny and fragile, a home with gentle children who understand how small she is would be important so she doesn’t get hurt accidentally. Doggy steps are a must — she uses them like a pro!

She is currently pee pad trained. That said, she loves going outside and will go to the door, so transitioning to outdoor potty training is absolutely achievable with consistency.

Leash walking is still a work in progress. She just needs patience and continued positive training.
Willow already knows:
Sit
Wait while her bowl is being placed down
Go into her crate
Stay in her crate with the door open until released

She’s smart and eager — she just needs someone committed to continuing her puppy education.

Willow sleeps through the night (in bed with her people) She’s learning a little independence and has started taking short naps on her own. She has been introduced to the crate and is doing great with short practice sessions.

She bonds deeply and does get upset when left home without her person. Because of this, she would do best in a home where someone is around most of the day. Someone gone long hours wouldn’t be the right fit — she truly thrives on companionship.
