Meet Sweetie, the Chihuahua mix who truly lives up to her name
Sweetie arrived from Mexico and has been quietly stealing hearts ever since.

This little girl is as sweet and gentle. She loves to follow her people from room to room, keeping a curious eye on everything you're doing. When she really wants a better look, she'll even pop up on her hind legs like a tiny dancer asking for an encore.

Sweetie is excellent in her kennel, keeping it clean and settling in calmly and contentedly. She's doing well with potty pads and has lovely house manners. Minnesota winters, however, are not her favorite-she freezes and shivers as soon as she steps outside, so she will thrive in a cozy home where outdoor time is brief and optional.

She is still learning about leash walking and currently prefers not to venture out on one. With patience, gentle encouragement, and positive reinforcement, she has the confidence to continue building those skills at her own pace. A home with a yard or someone comfortable with potty pads would be an especially good fit for her. She is doing excellent now going out to potty with the resident dog in the home.

Sweetie gets along beautifully with dogs, cats, and children and has a confident, friendly personality. She has met tall men and happily greeted them with enthusiasm and requests for attention. She shows no food or treat aggression and is simply a pleasant, easy little companion to have around.
