DESCRIPTION
Meet Russell
Russell is a one-year-old, 13-pound Chihuahua mix with long legs, a lean, athletic build, and the most soulful, liquid eyes youve ever seen. While his leggy frame suggests there may be some terrier influence in his mix, Russell is 100% lover through and through.
This sweet little guy is friendly, affectionate, and happiest when hes close to his people. Russell loves curling up in your lap and will happily jump onto the couch to be right by your side. Hes the kind of dog who wants to be part of everything youre doing.
Russell also has a bit of a mischievous streak hes an escape artist who once managed to get out of an outdoor kennel and lose his sweater along the way! But true to his people-loving nature, he didnt run off. Instead, he headed straight to the shelter door to see what the humans were up to. That pretty much sums him up: curious, social, and very attached to people.
If youre looking for a small dog with a big heart, a playful personality, and a strong desire to be your constant companion, Russell may be your perfect match.

ABOUT: CHIHUAHUA DOG BREED
The Chihuahua is a small breed famous for its confidence, loyalty, and big personality, despite its tiny size. Originating from Mexico, these dogs are known for their large, expressive eyes and alert, curious nature. Chihuahuas make excellent companions, forming strong bonds with their owners and displaying a protective nature. They come in a variety of coat colors and patterns, with both long and short coats, making them a diverse and adorable addition to any family.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
