DESCRIPTION
Meet Poppy
Poppy and her siblings were found abandoned in a box on a dirt road, left with no food, no shelter, and little hope of survival. Thankfully, a kind-hearted young man stepped in and brought them to safety just in time.
Now 7 weeks old, Poppy is thriving. She's had her first vaccine and has been dewormed. We believe she is a chihuahua mix, and she weighs just 4 tiny pounds.
Poppy is the sweetest little girl - with just the right amount of sass. She has definitely found her voice and isn't shy about using it, especially when she wants to be picked up and cuddled. She loves being held and will happily let you know when it's time for attention. She can be a little dramatic (in the cutest way possible), which just adds to her charm.
She has a playful spirit and enjoys both playing independently and romping around with her sisters. When she's tired, she crashes hard and is out like a light. Poppy isn't intimidated by other dogs in the home and fits right in. She has a healthy appetite and is doing very well using the puppy pad.
Poppy is full of personality, love, and spunk - and she's ready to find a forever family to call her own.

ABOUT: CHIHUAHUA DOG BREED
The Chihuahua is a small breed famous for its confidence, loyalty, and big personality, despite its tiny size. Originating from Mexico, these dogs are known for their large, expressive eyes and alert, curious nature. Chihuahuas make excellent companions, forming strong bonds with their owners and displaying a protective nature. They come in a variety of coat colors and patterns, with both long and short coats, making them a diverse and adorable addition to any family.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
