From the Vet:
Precious was recently evaluated with the Rescue Medical Team and it was determined that due to previous suspected trauma as well as decreased range of motion and intermittent lameness, she will need an orthopedic surgery on her hip to repair the hip joint itself and provide Precious with greater comfort and quality of life going forward. Her forever family should be prepared for about 4-6 weeks of rest and activity restriction as well as some gentle physical therapy at home. She may benefit from joint supplements life long, but we know there is a warm sunny spot on someone's couch just waiting for her!
