Kanto forms a deep, loyal bond with "her person," and once you're in her circle, you'll discover a sweet, snuggly companion who loves lounging on the couch, curling up in bed, and simply being close. She's playful, too! Kanto enjoys romping around with other pups and happily entertains herself with a good chew (antlers are a favorite).

Kanto is looking for a very dog-savvy, patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. She can be fearful of new people and may bark or react when she feels unsure, so it's important to let her set the pace and respect her boundaries as she learns she's safe. With consistency and kindness, she truly blossoms into a wonderful companion.

She's already doing great with pee pad training and has a healthy appetite, no picky eater here! Kanto is also making progress with being handled and picked up, especially in the comfort of her home.

A fenced yard would be ideal for Kanto as she builds confidence, and she would do best skipping walks at first until she feels fully secure in her new environment.

Kanto may take a little extra time, but for the right person, she's an incredibly rewarding friend, loyal, and loving!
