DESCRIPTION
Meet Snowball!
Snowball is a 2 year-old male long-haired Chihuahua mix cuddle bug who lives for affection. He loves kisses, pets, and will happily climb onto your lap to fall asleep. He’s also super chill and quiet (no barking!), and enjoys playing with toys, so you get the best of both worlds: playful + snuggly.
Snowball is:
· House trained / potty trained (zero accidents!)
· Crate trained
· Great on a leash and enjoys walks
Because he came from a hoarding case, Snowball can be hesitant with new people and loud/unknown noises at first. He sleeps soundly through movies, but may wake up if he hears sounds outside the door. On walks he can get uneasy around people and may hide behind you for reassurance (and he LOVES being carried).
Snowball would do amazing with someone who wants a dog that will follow them around, cuddle a lot, and soak up all the attention. If you’re looking for a sweet, clingy little best friend, he’s your guy.
To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. We don't get to all of the inquires but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!
ABOUT: CHIHUAHUA DOG BREED
The Chihuahua is a small breed famous for its confidence, loyalty, and big personality, despite its tiny size. Originating from Mexico, these dogs are known for their large, expressive eyes and alert, curious nature. Chihuahuas make excellent companions, forming strong bonds with their owners and displaying a protective nature. They come in a variety of coat colors and patterns, with both long and short coats, making them a diverse and adorable addition to any family.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
