Woof! I'm Liza, and this is my buddy Judy, short for Judy Garland! We are a pair of chihuahuas who are looking for a new home to call our own.

Judy and I had a rough start to life, but we have come through all of the challenges brave and strong! When I arrived at the Alliance, I was so, so sad (check out some of my photos to see my old self), but with some special care and a loving foster home, I'm doing great now! My friend Judy relies on me for her confidence, and she helps me get around, because I'm blind! You'd never know just looking at me! In fact, my foster parents say I have a ton of confidence and often try to take on stairs or heights - baby gates have been very helpful :) I love snuggles and am more than happy to be the social butterfly of this duo!

Anyway, we are excited to meet new friends, and are hoping to find our next great adventure soon!

Originating from Mexico, these dogs are known for their large, expressive eyes and alert, curious nature. They come in a variety of coat colors and patterns, with both long and short coats, making them a diverse and adorable addition to any family.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
