Jess is an approximately 1-year-old Chihuahua mix who was found as a stray along a dumping area in Houston, Texas. Thankfully she is now safe in foster care and getting the love and stability she deserves while she waits for her forever home.
Jess is a loving and outgoing little girl who enjoys snuggles and being close to her people. She does wonderfully with other dogs, including bigger dogs, and thrives in the company of canine friends. She’s affectionate, friendly, and ready to bond with a family of her own.
Jess is potty trained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. She has done well with both dogs and cats in her foster home.
Jess is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, on monthly preventatives, dewormed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $450.
If you’re interested in giving Jess her forever home, please complete our adoption application linked below.
Since most of our animals are found as strays, we cannot guarantee breed or age. Breed and age are determined based on our experience and veterinarian guidance.
Our adoption fees help cover expenses and allow us to continue to Rescue, Rehab, and Rehome animals in need. Thank you so much for considering adoption.
ABOUT: CHIHUAHUA DOG BREED
The Chihuahua is a small breed famous for its confidence, loyalty, and big personality, despite its tiny size. Originating from Mexico, these dogs are known for their large, expressive eyes and alert, curious nature. Chihuahuas make excellent companions, forming strong bonds with their owners and displaying a protective nature. They come in a variety of coat colors and patterns, with both long and short coats, making them a diverse and adorable addition to any family.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
