DESCRIPTION
A small pup with a big heart looking for his forever home
Grumps is an adorable 17-pound mixed breed dog who may have a grumpy-sounding name, but his personality is anything but! While we’re not quite sure what breeds make up his mix, one thing is certain—he is super cute and full of charm.
Grumps is around 2 years old and came to us as a transfer from a nearby shelter that was out of space and needed a safe place for him to land. Since arriving, he has done very well with other dogs and has shown that he truly loves attention from people.
This sweet boy would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a small, friendly dog to share their life with. Whether it’s cuddling, hanging out, or just being your loyal sidekick, Grumps is ready to be someone’s best friend.
We would absolutely love to see Grumps find his forever home—one where he can feel safe, loved, and cherished for years to come. Could that be with you?
ABOUT: CHIHUAHUA DOG BREED
The Chihuahua is a small breed famous for its confidence, loyalty, and big personality, despite its tiny size. Originating from Mexico, these dogs are known for their large, expressive eyes and alert, curious nature. Chihuahuas make excellent companions, forming strong bonds with their owners and displaying a protective nature. They come in a variety of coat colors and patterns, with both long and short coats, making them a diverse and adorable addition to any family.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
