Meet Josie — a 2.5-month-old Chihuahua mix with the cutest floppy ears and a bubbly, one-of-a-kind personality. Weighing 15 pounds, she’s a playful little girl who already shows how smart she is by already getting a head start on the perfect 'sit'.

Josie loves squeaky toys and enjoys playing with her canine friends like they are the only dogs in the world. Friendly with kids and cats too, Josie is a social sweetheart who gets along with everyone she meets. She would thrive with an active family who enjoys walks, adventures, and plenty of playtime. After fun and excitement, Josie is happy to cuddle up and share her softer, loving side.

HFG Dog Rescue is a 100 percent foster-based rescue located in Berkeley Heights, NJ with a sister location, The Almost Home Wellness Center, in Aiken, SC. All of our dogs are rescued from kill shelters in SC + GA and once ready for adoption live in loving local NJ foster homes until they find forever families of their own. Our fosters begin basic training, housebreaking, and leash-walking skills to help pair you with the perfect pup for life!
