Chihuahua and Miniature Pinscher Dogs Available for Adoption

Dot is Pixel’s sister, and like him she’s 1 year old and around 14lb, with the sweetest, most gentle personality. If Pixel is the slightly goofy younger brother energy, Dot is the calm, wise sister who just wants a peaceful life and a cozy spot next to her person.

Dot and her siblings were found abandoned in a park after living outside through cold, wind, and rain. It seems she may have even had puppies before she was rescued, which makes her gentle nature even more special. She’s been through more than a young dog should, but she’s still incredibly loving.

Dot is a bit shy when she first meets you. She’s not the type to run up and demand attention right away. Instead, she’ll quietly watch you, slowly come closer, and before you know it she’s sitting beside you like she’s been there forever. Once she feels safe, she’s very affectionate in that soft, quiet way that just melts your heart.

She’s also the easiest roommate you could ask for. Dot is **house-trained, calm in her crate, and generally just minds her own business**. No drama, no chaos, no troublemaking. She’s perfectly happy hanging out nearby while you go about your day.

She gets along well with other dogs and has been calm around cats too. Walks are still a bit new to her, but she’s learning and does well on leash. She’s more of a “let’s stroll and sniff” kind of girl than a marathon runner anyway.

Dot isn’t very interested in toys yet—honestly she seems to think they’re a little confusing. What she really likes is company. Sitting next to you on the couch, quietly following you around the house, or just being nearby where she knows everything is okay.
