Chihuahua and Miniature Dachshund Dogs Available for Adoption

Sally is the cutest. She absolutely loves human attention and is good with all dogs she has met and is in foster with. She is friendly, bubbly, and and an overall gem. Sally is a snuggler, fun, and an easy keeper for her foster! She is around 2 years old and around 12lbs. She was found stray, and landed in a high kill shelter, and we were happy to welcome this deserving girl into rescue!
Sally’s bio:
-age appropriate energy, is happy go lucky and happy to play with other dogs, likes to be held
-great with other dogs in her foster home and every dog she’s met in the shelter, out around town and at foster friends’ homes
-likes to be around people but fine when left home while foster works, too
-potty trained in current setting
-good on leash
-does well in her kennel or gated area/dog room when foster is at work
-enjoys toys, treats and chew bones
-enjoys lounging in the yard and on her dog bed as well as playtime in the yard, likes to explore
-will make a great companion, and a great walking/adventure/car ride buddy to a lucky family
-does well so far on car rides to her vet appointments and errands with her foster
-did great for her grooming/bath
-is up to date on vaccines, spayed, dewormed, is on flea and tick preventatives, and microchipped
