Chihuahua and Dachshund Dogs Available for Adoption in Houston, Texas

Meet Goose, he is a 1-year-old male Chiweenie weighing about 12 lbs, and he’s as sweet as they come. He’s a loving little guy who absolutely adores being close to his people—especially when it’s time to cuddle up and sleep.

Goose is  doing very well with his training:

Goose is crate-trained, walks nicely on a leash, and knows his recall command (“here”). He also responds to his name and is eager to please. We’re still working on potty training, but he’s making progress.

Goose gets along great with other dogs and has been introduced to a cat. While he can’t resist the occasional urge to chase (out of curiosity, not aggression), he’s learning and improving. He has a very gentle, submissive personality.

We haven’t seen him around kids yet, but given his affectionate, easygoing nature, we think he would likely do very well.

If you’re looking for a loyal, cuddly companion with a playful side, Goose could be a perfect fit.

He is located in Houston, Texas, but can’t be transported to most states for an additional fee of $300.
