Meet Frederick! 🐶🍁
Frederick is a handsome 18-month-old Cavapoo with a gorgeous all-red coat and a gentle, sensitive personality. He weighs about 10 pounds and is just beginning to experience life outside of a breeding environment.
As a breeding release, Frederick is naturally very shy with new people. He’s still learning that humans can be safe and loving, so he may take a little extra time to feel comfortable. With patience and a calm environment, he continues to make progress every day.
Frederick has no aggression issues whatsoever. He allows handling for grooming, brushing, nail trims, and general care without any problems—he’s simply timid while he learns to trust.
What truly brings Frederick out of his shell is other dogs. He absolutely loves them and becomes playful and joyful outside when he’s running around with his canine friends. He’s also great with cats.
Frederick enjoys his kennel and keeps it clean, and he’s learning the routine of going outside with the other dogs when the door opens. Like many dogs discovering a new life, leash walking is still a work in progress, but he’s learning more every day.
With a patient family and a confident dog friend to help show him the ropes, Frederick is going to blossom into a wonderful companion. He’s simply waiting for someone to give him the chance he deserves.
Frederick will come with a collar, leash, toy, two food bowls, some food, and a copy of all his medical and microchip information. His adoption fee of $600 is tax-deductible and includes his neuter, vaccines, heartworm testing and treatment, and microchip.
