Cavapoo Dogs Available for Adoption

Hello! My name is Annie. I am a 1 1/2 year old Cavapoo. I am still very much a puppy. I have endless energy and am constantly getting the zoomies. All day long I love to play, and run. When done playing, I love to snuggle on the couch.
I love my people. I must be where the people are. Dinner time? I'm under the table. Watching TV? I'm on the couch or playing on the floor. Bedtime? Right in the bed with you. I've tried sleeping in a kennel and hated it, I cried all night.

I am mostly potty trained. I know I am supposed to go outside, but I'm not always sure how to communicate that I need to go out. Sometimes when I'm outside, I'm so busy playing that I forget to go, and I might have an accident. I am getting better.

Right now I don't know any commands. My foster mom is working on sit with me, but I'm so excited about the attention I'm getting it takes a while for me to get it.

Currently I'm in a home with other small dogs. I get along with them really well. They are teaching me a lot of things and do correct me when I get too crazy.

I would love a home that is active, and will keep me moving. They will need to be patient with me, and keep working on my training. I can come off as shy at the beginning or in overstimulating situations, but once I warm up, I'm with you always.

Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home. Sometimes there is more that comes out about a dog's personality once they have been able to settle in a home & truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption; discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, & 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.

Last Hope, Inc. is an all volunteer, foster based, no kill rescue! You can see almost all of our dogs on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month from 11 am - 2 pm at Apple Valley Petco (7590 150th St W, Apple Valley, MN 55124)
Policies: You do not have to have a fence to adopt a dog from us, but some dogs will require a fence or acres to play, or an active family who will make sure the dog gets the exercise it needs to be happy. Some dogs do not have the temperament that will do well with young children.
The Adoption Fee is not enough to cover the vet bills. Sales tax of almost 7.25% is also included in the adoption fee that you see. Please consider donating to Last Hope to help us save these animals!
