Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Dogs Available for Adoption

Meet Avalanche! Avalanche is a 7.5-year-old, 20lbs, male Cavalier King Charles. Avalanche has been in foster care and doing well. He did have a heart murmur, so our friends at Purdue Cardiology performed an echocardiogram on him. He has been diagnosed with Myxomatous mitral valve ACVIM Stage B1-B2, Myxomatous tricuspid valve disease, trivial, and there is a concern for systemic hypertension. This essentially means that he is in the early to moderate stage. One of his valves has a small leak and another valve has a tiny leak. He is on medication now that helps the blood flow in the correct direction and helps the heart not need to pump as hard. He does need a repeat echo in 6-9 months.

The adoption fee is $200. This includes the spay/neuter, dental cleaning, microchip, heartworm test, wellness bloodwork, fecal flotation and all core vaccines.
