Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Dogs Available for Adoption

ERRMAHGERD!!! Is there any cuter dog than a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel?!?

Chief here is no exception, He's a not quite five year old who weighs 20 pounds.
Chief is friendly and outgoing and loves to cuddle. He is dog friendly, especially with a more confident dog. He just had his teeth cleaned by the vet.

CHIEF is a recent arrival from a high volume breeder in Amish country. He likely aged out of the baby making business and was cast aside. Well, we're happy to have him and want you to give him a real home!

According to AKC.org:
The Cavalier is a sweet, gentle, and affectionate breed, very eager to please their human. They are friendly with strangers and with other animals, and they can do very well with children. They are smart and train easily. Adaptable Cavaliers do equally well with active owners and homebodies, as they can be upbeat athletes or shameless couch potatoes, depending on an owner's lifestyle.

Being rescued from a high volume breeder doesn't mean there is anything wrong, The dog could have been the wrong color, size, fur, whatever or now retired from breeding. We are lucky enough to work with a vet in the area who cares enough to scoop up these dogs and get them adopted instead of ........??

Adoption fee is $550

All Ashland County Humane Society animals' adoption fees include:

~spay/neuter
~micro-chip
~de-worming
~vaccinations, including rabies
~heartworm prevention

We are an all volunteer-based organization that does not have a building or a staff, only 8 members with jobs and families, trying to make a difference. We do not have the volunteer manpower to show animals to non-approved applicants. If your application gets screened and approved, we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet and you can decide if this is the right pet for you.
