Molly – Sweet, Shy Companion Looking for the Right Home

Molly is a 4-year-old Cavalier mix (born April 1, 2021), weighing about 15 pounds. She is a spayed female with a gentle personality and moderate energy level—she enjoys running and playing but is also content to relax at home.

She is up to date on vaccinations and has received regular veterinary care. Molly is housetrained, crate-trained, and does well with a consistent routine. When left alone, she is comfortable in her crate for a few hours at a time.

Molly gets along well with other dogs and has lived with both dogs and cats. She has also been around children (ages 12–15) and has done well. She enjoys chewing on bones, playing with stuffed toys, and relaxing on the couch or her dog bed.

Molly's biggest need is a home with a female primary caregiver. She is shy and uneasy around men, and this has remained a consistent behavior. In the right environment, she is affectionate, responsive, and eager to bond.

She walks well on a harness and does not lunge at people or other dogs, though she may show interest in small animals like squirrels or rabbits. She can be vocal when she sees other dogs but responds well to correction.

Molly would thrive in a calm, patient home where she can feel safe and build trust—especially with a female owner. She is a loyal, loving dog who just needs the right match to truly shine.
