Meet Sprite. Sprite is a beautiful red 2 1/2 year old female cavapoo weighing 17 lbs. She came into rescue from a local commercial breeding facility. She has never had puppies from what we were told. Sprite is very shy, but also very sweet. Sprite is very frightened on a leash. A fenced-in yard is going to be a must for Sprite as well as another kind dog her size to learn from. This sweet girl would do best in an adult home or a home with children 10 yo and above who can respect her need to acclimate to her new home slowly. Sprite is very smart. She keeps her crate clean and has no accidents inside her foster home. Continued consistency is going to be key in helping Sprite stay on course with her crate training and house training. Sprite is now spayed, up to date with vaccines and microchipped. She tested negative for heartworm and has been started on monthly heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $500.00.
