Meet Tigger, a magnificent Ovcharka mix who has made the long journey from Azerbaijan — nestled between Iran and Russia — where far too many animals are left to survive on their own. Now, at 3 years and 8 months old, Tiger is ready to find the loving home he’s always deserved.
True to his name, Tigger is a striking 116 lbs of loyalty and heart. Despite his impressive size, he is incredibly affectionate. He absolutely loves getting attention and will gently lean his big body into you for scratches and rubs, soaking up every bit of love. His affectionate nature makes him a wonderful, devoted companion.
Tigger is great with other dogs and does beautifully around them. He is very loving, social, and enjoys being part of the action while staying connected to his people. His warm personality and steady presence make him a special boy who bonds deeply.
He is on the submissive end of the spectrum. He will happily be an only dog, but can also live with other dogs and cats. We do look for owners who are home much of the time: work from home, retired, stay at home parent, etc. He can also go to work with you. After long years at the dog yard he is excited to get out in the world.
Tigger is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and weighs 116 lbs.
