Meet Diego! This sweet energetic boy is up for adventure! Are you a runner looking for a buddy? He can keep up! Into agility training? He could be your guy!

Diego is very smart and trainable and if food is involved to motivate, even better!
He is extremely affectionate and adores people and is learning that there are other, more appropriate ways to show his love, rather than jumping up to give hugs.

Diego is both crate and potty trained. Due to his herding nature, it would be best if his new family is savvy with his breed. A fenced yard would be a plus.

He is unbothered by thunder and fireworks - big win, right there! He is great with other dogs, although can sometimes be overwhelming with his enthusiasm, and absolutely LOVES children!!! He goes from whirling dervish to sweet submissive puddle on the ground, when a child comes over to pet him.

We are recommending a home without cats or tiny dogs for him at this point, not so much because of his prey drive, but because he totally oblivious to the fact some animals might not wish to be jumped on
