“Princess” just didn’t fit this rough-and-tumble little girl, so we renamed her Cricket, and it suits her perfectly.

Cricket was deliberately hit by a car in Ellis County, but thanks to excellent veterinary care and an incredible rehab foster, she has healed beautifully and shown everyone exactly how resilient she is. What could have broken her only made her brighter.

Cricket is a bouncy, joyful, under-a-year-old pup whose love language is play. She’s tiny but mighty, often referred to as a “pocket heeler,” and she packs a whole lot of personality into a small frame.
