Yoda - Cattle Dog and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Ellicott City, Maryland

Yoda is a feisty, wiggly little guy who is pretty sure he’s the boss. He’s smart, playful, curious, and has a lot of energy.

He loves playing with other dogs and has been learning how to play more calmly. He’s made good progress, although he still brings plenty of enthusiasm to the game.

Yoda really loves being outside. He enjoys exploring the yard and checking everything out, but one of his favorite things is finding a spot underneath the bushes and settling in. He could happily hang out there for hours.

Like the rest of his litter, Yoda is an active, energetic puppy. He’ll need continued training, plenty of play and exercise, and things to keep his busy little brain occupied. He’s a funny, confident puppy with a lot of personality.

The Y litter came to us from our rescue partner in West Virginia.

The more information you provide, the faster the process is for all of us. Once you are approved to adopt, we will schedule an appointment to see the puppy in person and you will adopt and take it home that day.

Due to the (usual) speed and ease of our adoption process, PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT RIGHT NOW. If you are not ready to adopt within the next couple of days, we totally understand - just wait to apply until you are ready.

Adoption Fees:

Before our dogs are available for adoption, they will always be spayed/neutered, vaccinated (Distemper, Parvovirus, Bordetella, Rabies as much as age-appropriate), stool sample checked for parasites, and dewormed.

Adoption fee for our dogs is $375, $40 for a microchip and registration and $25 for a 3 month supply of heartworm preventative, for a TOTAL of $440.

The Cattle Dog is a diligent and robust herding breed known for its agility, intelligence, and hardworking nature. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
