Belt and his brother were part of an unwanted little of puppies born in a rural town we help. The owner of their mother surrendered them to a shelter we help when they were very young. We were able to save them because one of our fosters agreed to bring them into her home. Belt has been in our care since he was 5 weeks old, and he has completed his veterinary care. Now he’s ready to find someone who will love him forever.
Belt is a very sweet and playful boy. He is smart and learning how to be an indoor dog. He is almost house trained and learning to potty outside. He is crate trained and leash trained. He loves other dogs and has been with children as young as 6. He is 4 and 1/2 months old and weighs 20 pounds. We think he’s a Cattle Dog mix. His mother weighs 35 pounds, so he’ll likely be a medium sized adult.
Belt is neutered, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. He is also microchipped, heartworm negative and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
Belt can arrive in Connecticut on 3/14. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out the application found here: https://throwadogabone.org/adopt.
