DESCRIPTION
MEET SHAKIRA. Pretty little Cattle Dog/Bully dog type of girl is only about a year old, likes everyone and was given up through no fault of her own. She's quick to smile (and her smilin' Lips Don't Lie!), is an easy size, about 40 pounds, and happy to be included in the fun, Whenever or Wherever that may be. SHAK is an suitable fit for many types of families, so we encourage you to visit the doggie dorm and spend some time with her, and if you have a dog at home, please bring it with you so they can have some professionally supervised time in the play yard together. We think you'll feel that Miss SHAKIRA is quite the Star!
BCSAPS is open Mon-Fri 10-5 and Sat 10-2. Please arrive at least 30 min before closing to give the staff time to pack your new family member's bags.
ABOUT: CATTLE DOG DOG BREED
The Cattle Dog is a diligent and robust herding breed known for its agility, intelligence, and hardworking nature. Originating in Australia, Cattle Dogs are highly energetic and require ample exercise and mental stimulation. With their remarkable problem solving skills and unwavering loyalty, they excel in various canine activities and make excellent companions for active owners. Their distinctive blue or red coat, sturdy build, and alert expression reflect their heritage as versatile working dogs.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
