Meet Hope

Hope is a gentle, sensitive girl who just needs a little time to feel safe. She can be shy when meeting new people or entering new environments, but with patience and a calm approach, she begins to open up and show her sweet, loyal heart. Once she trusts you, Hope forms a deep bond and truly shines.

She has a medium energy level - happy to enjoy playtime and enrichment, but also content to relax by your side. Hope is especially motivated by affection, so praise, gentle pets, and reassurance go a long way in helping her feel confident and secure.

Hope does have some resource guarding behaviors, which means she'll need clear boundaries and an experienced, understanding home that can provide structure and positive guidance. Because of this, she would do best with dog-savvy children 13+ who can respect her space and follow household rules. She is not a fit for a home with cats.

With the right family - one that values patience, consistency, and trust-building - Hope will blossom into a devoted, loving companion. She just needs someone willing to see the beautiful potential behind her shy beginnings.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
