DESCRIPTION
Lycaon is a gentle, sensitive boy who is still learning that the world can be a safe and kind place. He can be quite nervous at first, but we’ve seen that having a calm, confident dog companion nearby helps him feel much more secure. Because of this, Lycaon would do best in a home with another friendly dog who interacts in a relaxed, easygoing way and can help show him the ropes. While we haven’t seen him fully open up into play yet, we believe that with time, patience, and a supportive canine friend, his personality will continue to blossom.
Lycaon is looking for a quiet, understanding home with children 14 and older who can respect his need for space and allow him to build trust at his own pace. With gentle guidance, consistency, and lots of kindness, this sweet boy has so much potential to grow into a loyal and loving companion.
