Hi, my name is Tex, and I have little, short legs and in the pictures you cannot see that's why maybe I am cattle dog and Corgi they think?? I am a 35 pound, fully grown pup with a huge personality. Just a little mix of ENERGY and CUDDLES. I was abandoned in a rural area with another pup, but that hasn't got me down. I'm all about moving forward and find my forever family. NOTE-I would love a farm or acreage or trail walking to be happy!

Tex is LOYAL and PROTECTIVE especially when it comes to the ones he loves. He'll keep a watchful eye but once you let him know a visitor is a friend, he's all tail wags and charm. He is house and crate trained, and this SMART ATHLETIC guy is leash savvy and loves a good hike and is an AMAZING car rider. Tex would make a perfect partner for an active home--and when the adventure is done, he's all about SNUGGLING and downtime. Tex is the classic VELCRO DOG, happiest when he's close to his people. Tex is super when it's time for his bath, sitting perfectly still while you scrub away. Tex is shy at first but warms up quickly. NOTE-Tex would do better with an all-adult household or high school age children due to his herding breed.

Need a laugh? Tex has the cutest little prance that will brighten your day, every day! He plays well with other dogs but sorry no cats--it's too tempting to chase.
