Firefly's mom and dad were abandoned at the home of an elderly couple in a very remote back-country area. The couple did everything they could to care for them, but despite reaching out for help, their pleas went unanswered. Animal Control never came, rescues couldn't help, and because neither dog had been spayed or neutered, it wasn't long before a litter of puppies arrived.

When we learned about their situation, we knew we had to help. We put a plan into motion, and today Firefly, her parents, and all of the siblings are safe with Circle 2 Rescue! Now they're discovering what it's like to be loved, cared for, and part of a family.

His foster family absolutely adores him! He has traded unbearable summer heat for yummy meals , cozy naps inside , a basket full of toys , plenty of belly rubs , and a big yard where he can zoom around and simply enjoy being a puppy.

Firefly's mom is a Catahoula and is also available for adoption. Her name on our website is Zinnia. Of course, like most rescue pups, Firefly's a wonderful blend of many breeds, making him every bit as unique as he is handsome. We think that this cute fella might have some American Staffordshire Terrier in him. It's hard to tell at this age.
