DESCRIPTION
Hi, my name is Markie and I am from Arkansas!
Markie is a handsome, affectionate, active puppy with beautiful blue eyes the color of the ocean. He loves all his toys and takes them one by one into his crate; he also loves to chase balls and chew on Nylabones, and he is super smart! When you pick him up, he melts into your arms, loving the warmth and comfort of cuddles with humans. He would be such a wonderful addition to a loving home. He has only been in our care for a couple days and we're working on potty training, but I am confident the training will go well because, as I stated, he is a smart one! I'm fostering his sister (Lena) too, and they are quite the dynamic duo! They keep each other entertained and collapse in exhaustion after their frolics. Markie is a sweetie, so very handsome, and an all-around terrific pup!
ABOUT: CATAHOULA LEOPARD DOG DOG BREED
The Catahoula Leopard Dog, a unique and versatile breed originally from Louisiana, is known for its striking coat patterns resembling a leopard. These dogs are esteemed for their intelligence, loyalty, and exceptional working abilities. With a strong instinct for herding and tracking, they excel in diverse roles such as hunting, herding, and search and rescue. Renowned for their protective nature and affection towards their families, Catahoula Leopard Dogs make devoted companions for owners committed to providing them with proper training and stimulation.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
