Catahoula Leopard Dog and Labrador Retriever Dogs Available for Adoption
RICOTTA
Catahoula Leopard Dog, Labrador Retriever
🇺🇸
Grant, Nebraska
February 16th
female, medium, baby
DESCRIPTION
Ricotta is the tiniest member of our 11-week-old Catahoula/Lab mix litter, and while she may be small, her sweet nature is huge. We expect she will likely stay under 60 pounds when fully grown, making her the perfect “just right” size for many families.
Ricotta had a rough start and came to us underweight, dehydrated, and lacking early socialization. Because of that, she can be pretty shy, especially in new environments or around unfamiliar people. She prefers to take her time observing before jumping in — but once she feels safe, you’ll see her gentle, loving personality start to shine.
She would do best with a patient family who understands that confidence takes time to build. With consistency, kindness, and positive reinforcement, Ricotta will continue to blossom. Watching shy puppies learn to trust is one of the most rewarding journeys, and Ricotta is well on her way.
Ricotta will be spayed prior to adoption and is current on age-appropriate vaccines. Her adoption fee is $350.
If you’re looking for a softer, quieter companion to grow alongside your family, Ricotta may be the perfect little match.
