Alex is a 1-year-old Carolina Dog mix weighing 28 lbs who is incredibly social, friendly, and always happy to meet new people. He has a gentle, loving nature and is ready to find a family who will adore him as much as he will adore them. Alex has a condition called megaesophagus, which means he needs to eat small meals while standing upright on his back legs to help him digest properly. With a simple feeding routine and lots of love, he can live a happy, fulfilling life. Alex is looking for a caring home willing to give him the extra support he needs-and in return, he'll give endless loyalty, affection, and companionship.

Applicants are typically contacted within two to three days from submission. Adopters are chosen based on the best fit for the dog. If your application is approved, we will contact you to set up an appointment to speak further and meet in San Diego.
